We exist to make homeschooling more connected, more supported, and more joyful for every family in the PNW.
The Lemon Tree Community is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization born out of a simple belief: that homeschooling families in the Pacific Northwest deserve more than just curriculum β they deserve a real community.
We were founded as a nonprofit partner of The Homeschool Supply Co in Bothell, WA, allowing us to extend our mission beyond the storefront and into the hearts of families who need connection, encouragement, and access to enriching programs.
Our work is funded by donations, class registrations, and the generous spirit of our community β every dollar stays local and goes directly into programming for families like yours.
"Homeschooling is like crafting with glitter β itβs messy, and scary, and oh so worth it. Weβre here to make sure you never do it alone." β Lemon Tree Community
Homeschooling families come in every shape, size, and philosophy. We serve all home-educating families regardless of race, religion, methodology, or background.
As a nonprofit, our programs are never driven by profit. Our single goal is to make the homeschool journey richer, more supported, and more joyful for every family.
We believe children learn best through doing. Every class and event we offer is designed to be active, engaging, and memorable β not just another worksheet.
Cost should never be a barrier to community or learning. We strive to keep programs affordable and offer free events so every family can participate.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, we hold ourselves to high standards of financial transparency. Donors can trust that every dollar goes where itβs promised.
We are proudly local. Based in Bothell, WA, our programs are built for and by the Pacific Northwest homeschool community.

The Lemon Tree Community exists alongside β and in partnership with β The Homeschool Supply Co, the homeschool curriculum store in Downtown Bothell, WA.
While the two organizations are legally separate, they share a common mission: to support and equip homeschooling families in the Pacific Northwest. The store provides curriculum and supplies; we provide classes, events, and community.
Together, weβve built something rare: a physical and community home for homeschool families in the PNW.
